n response to the increasing global emphasis on environmental responsibility, our company has been continuously reviewing the environmental impacts associated with our products throughout their life cycle and conducting assessments using scientific methodologies. In November 2025, we obtained an Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) issued by UL. This declaration is based on a comprehensive life cycle analysis (LCA) and discloses environmental impact data through standardized methods, enabling stakeholders to gain transparent and comparable insights into our product information. The development of the EPD follows the principles of ISO 14025 (Type III environmental declarations) and ISO 14040/14044 (life cycle assessment standards). With these international standards as the foundation, the EPD provides a consistent framework for presenting the environmental impacts generated from raw material extraction, manufacturing, transportation, and product use. Through UL’s third-party verification, the reliability and traceability of our data and analytical processes are ensured. For our company, obtaining the EPD is not solely about certification. More importantly, it provides meaningful insights from the life cycle analysis that help us identify future improvement opportunities, including material utilization, process efficiency, and resource consumption. These findings also serve as a basis for establishing future environmental objectives and optimization measures. The declaration enables us to present concrete and quantifiable environmental impact data to the public, while motivating us to continue refining our production processes, reducing carbon emissions, and promoting higher environmental standards across our supply chain. Looking ahead, we will continue to evaluate product environmental impacts using scientific approaches, incorporating LCA and EPD results into both new product development and improvements to existing products. At the same time, we remain committed to monitoring developments in green industries and progressively advancing related initiatives, ensuring that sustainable practices are integrated into our everyday operations in a practical and effective manner.
